Saint Ursula, or Saint Ursula, is a highly venerated saint in the Catholic tradition. She is considered the patron saint of young people and schoolgirls. According to tradition, Ursula was a 4th century British princess who converted to Christianity. She is said to have led a group of eleven thousand virgins on a pilgrimage to Rome. On their return journey, they were attacked by a group of barbarians and all the virgins were martyred. Ursula herself was killed but is said to have shown great courage and devotion to the end. The feast of St Ursula is celebrated on 21 October. She is a figure admired for her faith and sacrifice, and is often invoked for protection and inspiration in life's challenges.
