Saint Ursula is a highly revered saint in the Catholic tradition. She is considered the patron saint of young people and schoolgirls. According to tradition, Ursula was a 4th-century British princess who converted to Christianity. She is said to have led a group of eleven thousand virgins on a pilgrimage to Rome. On their return journey they were attacked by a group of barbarians and all the virgins suffered martyrdom. Ursula herself was killed, but is said to have shown great courage and dedication right up to the end. The feast of Saint Ursula is celebrated on October 21st. She is admired for her faith and sacrifice and is often invoked for protection and inspiration in life's challenges.
