Saint Veronica, also known as Saint Veronica Giuliani, is a saint venerated in the Catholic tradition. Born on December 27, 1660 in Mercatello sul Metauro, Italy, Veronica was a Franciscan nun of the Capuchin Sisters of the Poor Poor Clares.

She is famous for her intense mystical experiences and receiving the stigmata, the wounds of Christ on her body, which manifested themselves during Lent.
