Immerse yourself in the devotion and art of Val Gardena with this magnificent sculpture of Saint Adalgaro. The work captures the Saint in a pose of deep meditation, with his gaze fixed on the open book he holds in his right hand, a symbol of his wisdom and the Word.
The polychrome finish is a triumph of details, where the rich burgundy brown of the episcopal vestment elegantly contrasts with the light beige of the miter and undergarment. Every fold of the drapery is masterfully carved, giving realistic volume and a sense of movement to the entire figure.
The metallic gold accents, present on the crozier, on the clasp and along the edges of the vestments, add a touch of sacredness and splendor typical of the finest South Tyrolean Baroque tradition. The sculpture is available in different finishes, including vibrant colored (C), natural (N) or the three shades of brown (3G).
To guarantee the highest quality and definition, the sculpture is made of precious maple wood for sizes up to 56cm. For more imposing dimensions (from 60cm upwards), linden wood is used, ideal for large-format statues, ensuring stability, resistance and magnificence over time.
