Behind all DOLFI products and collections stand over 120 years of innovation and a surprising amount of manual labor still endures.
The entire process of wood carving is a more complex art than one might think. For a wooden figure to be carved, finished, refined, painted, and then gilded, an average of at least 150 artisanal steps are required.
The personality of each DOLFI object is born from the extraordinary creativity of our master sculptors and the patience and skill of careful, loving painting.
