Since 1892, DOLFI products and collections have combined innovation and manual craftsmanship, preserving Val Gardena’s artisanal knowledge.
The entire process of wood carving is a more complex art than one might think. From carving a wooden figure to finishing, refining, painting and finally gilding it, an average of at least 150 artisanal steps are required.
The personality of each DOLFI object comes from the extraordinary creativity of our master sculptors and the patience and skill of careful, lovingly applied painting.
