Saint Ottilia, or Saint Odilia, is a saint venerated in the Catholic tradition. She is considered the patron saint of the Alsace region in France. According to tradition, Ottilia was the daughter of a duke of Alsace and was born deaf. However, after she was baptised, she miraculously recovered her hearing. Ottilia founded a monastery in Hohenburg, where she devoted her life to praying and serving God. She is said to have performed numerous miracles, including healing of illnesses and protection from natural disasters. Her feast day is usually celebrated on 13 December. Saint Ottilia is an example of faith and devotion in the Catholic tradition.
