The statue of St. Henry Emperor captures the majesty and profound spirituality of the Saint in a work of refined Dolfi craftsmanship. This entirely hand-painted wooden sculpture presents a regal and contemplative figure, a symbol of earthly power enlightened by faith.
The Emperor is depicted with the insignia of his high rank: a richly carved golden crown, a burgundy red robe with soft folds, and a gold-lined cloak. The details are executed with meticulous care: from the calm expression of his face to the elegance of the golden ornaments, applied with a technique that evokes the luster of gold leaf.
In his right hand, St. Henry holds the globus cruciger (the world surmounted by a cross) with a book on top, while in his left hand he clutches the tall scepter. These symbols, crafted with sculptural precision, emphasize his mission as a Christian ruler.
The sculpture is available in a wide range of sizes, designed for any sacred or domestic environment. Respecting the ancient tradition of Val Gardena, this representation of St. Henry is made of maple wood for sizes up to 56cm and lime wood for other sizes, ensuring quality and durability over time in every detail.
