The vestments are a triumph of color and detail: the rich dark red cope features deep and dynamic drapery, accented by golden borders, overlapping an underlying cream tunic with blue trim. The miter is finely designed, while the long crozier and the open book, held at chest height, gleam with accents in gold leaf or metallic paint. Every fold, every detail of the face and hand is the result of skillful carving and polychromy executed with meticulous passion.
