Admire the majesty of the statue of Saint Otto the Bishop, a masterpiece of wood carving that carries with it the legacy of Val Gardena craftsmanship. The Bishop is depicted in a contemplative pose, holding a finely gilded crozier and an open book, symbols of his wisdom and teaching. The polychrome finish enhances the sumptuousness of the vestments: the deep crimson of the cope, the golden yellow of the tunic, and the metallic gold details applied with meticulous precision on the borders, on the miter, and on the pectoral cross.
