Description

Admire the serene beauty of Saint Cecilia, Patroness of Music, in this sculpture that celebrates harmony and devotion, crafted entirely by hand according to the age-old artisanal tradition of Val Gardena.

The figure, draped in abundant folds, captures attention with its rich chromatic palette: the outer garment features a deep emerald green, elegantly bordered in glossy gold. These golden details, along with the lacquered finish, give the statue a vibrant luminosity, contrasting with the delicate flesh tone and pale pink of the undergarment. The sculpture is in a contemplative pose, with her gaze lowered, conveying an inner peace that only faith and art can express.

The central symbol is the musical instrument that the Saint holds to her chest, depicted with great meticulousness and light blue pipes. At her feet, two books with red covers and gilded edges enrich the composition, resting on a multilayered base finished in dark wood.

Offered in finishes C (Hand-colored with oil paints and gilded details), N (Natural wood), or 3G (Three shades of brown), each work is a unique piece of faith. The statue is made of maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm and precious linden wood for other sizes, ensuring a high-quality sculpture and impeccable sculptural definition in every chosen format.
