Description

Allow yourself to be enveloped by the serene composure of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a masterpiece of wooden sculpture that brings the light of devotion directly into your home. This representation is a hymn to faith, carved with the meticulousness that distinguishes Dolfi craftsmanship from Val Gardena.

The Blessed Mother is immortalized in a pose of deep contemplation, with her hands clasped in prayer and her gaze directed towards humanity. Her majestic mantle, painted in a refined sage green, is embellished with delicate white decorations, reminiscent of celestial symbols. The inner tunic, in a warm salmon pink, is enriched with elaborate embroidery and floral motifs made in brilliant gold. This golden finish extends magnificently into the halo radiating behind the figure, emphasizing her divine glory.

The composition rests on a striking dark crescent moon, gracefully supported by a small winged cherub nestled on clouds. The entire work is hand-finished with oil paints and golden details that give a metallic sheen, enhancing every fold of the drapery and the serene expression of the face.

Made from selected mountain wood, attention to detail is combined with the robustness of the material: the work is available in maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, and in linden wood for larger dimensions. Choose the colored finish (C), where every detail is enhanced by hand painting, or natural (N), to appreciate the pure essence of wood carving.

Detail & Meaning
