Our Lady of Kindness is depicted in a moment of deep contemplation, with her head bowed towards the Child she holds firmly in her arms. The peaceful expression of the Virgin, combined with the stillness of the newborn, instills an immediate sense of protection and divine grace in any environment.
The sculpture stands out for its skillful use of color and richness of detail. The outer mantle, painted in a striking desaturated blue-green, harmoniously contrasts with the terracotta-colored robe underneath, while the accurate drapery gives movement and plasticity to the figure. The gold paint finishes, which elegantly border the mantle and highlight the contours, add a touch of regal light, emphasizing the sacredness of the scene.
This majestic 60 cm statue was hand-carved by our master craftsmen from Val Gardena. To ensure maximum fidelity of detail and durability over time, we have exclusively used Linden Wood, as per ancient tradition for works of these important dimensions. The oil painting, applied with meticulous care, guarantees intense shades and a semi-matte finish that celebrates the natural and vibrant texture of the wood.
