Admire the Virgin Mary, kneeling in prayer with a lowered and serene gaze, and Saint Joseph, protective and vigilant, illuminating the scene with a finely carved lantern that simulates an inner flame. In the central scene, the infant Jesus rests peacefully within his straw cradle, carved in a single harmonious form.
The colors have been chosen to evoke a sense of warmth and antiquity, with earthy tones of ocher, salmon, and accents of deep blue-green. Each piece is entirely hand-carved and hand-painted by our master artisans from Val Gardena, with a matte and patinated finish that enhances the soft and realistic folds of the garments.
To ensure maximum quality and meticulous details in every size, this set is made from precious maple wood for the smaller sizes, ideal for fine carving. For the more imposing 56 cm variant, we use sturdy linden wood, ensuring stability and resistance, according to our tradition.
