Description

This fascinating sculpture captures the quiet vigilance of the fox, an essential detail to enrich your nativity scene or your Alpine wildlife collection. The animal is depicted in a crouching resting pose, but with an attentive expression and amber eyes looking afar, evoking the mysterious beauty of the Val Gardena woods. The head is slightly turned, giving the observer the impression of a creature listening.

Each piece is the result of the ancient sculptural art of local master craftsmen. The fur is rendered with incredible realism thanks to fine carvings and meticulous brushstrokes that simulate its texture, creating a play of light and shadow among shades of brown, beige, and white. The most visually striking element is the stylized and segmented orange-red tail, a true distinctive feature that adds dynamism to the composition.

Made entirely of Maple Wood, a precious material selected for its fine grain, ideal for small and medium-sized sculptures (up to 56 cm). You can choose the "colored" (C) variant, where non-toxic pigments enhance the natural nuances of the animal, or the "natural" (N) version, which celebrates the pure essence of untreated maple wood. A tangible testament to Dolfi's sculptural excellence.

Detail & Meaning
