This decorative solid wood board made from selected wood is a tribute to the artisan tradition of Val Gardena, bringing warmth and authenticity to any room. It is not a sculpture, but a decorative surface that celebrates the pure beauty of nature and the manual skill of our artisans.
The finish was designed to enhance the magnificent horizontal grain of the wood, which expresses itself in a rich palette of browns, from warm golden to intense reddish. The semi-matte polishing protects and at the same time allows the unique and unrepeatable character of each piece to shine through, including its natural irregularities such as knots and streaks.
Attention to detail is evident in the essential design: a subtle milled edge that acts as an elegant frame and, in the lower right corner, three heart-shaped carvings arranged obliquely. These through cutouts, made with extreme precision and with slightly burnished edges to enhance their outline, transform the board into a tangible symbol of affection and care, making it ideal for the kitchen or as a refined decorative element.
