Bring a touch of tradition and alpine precision into your home with our Weather House, a true micro-barometer that embodies the art and folklore of the Black Forest.
The structure faithfully reproduces a rustic mountain chalet, characterized by a sloping shingled roof and walls that simulate wooden planks, finished with natural tones that enhance its authentic texture. Vibrant details, such as the red shutters and landscape elements, make this item a decorative gem.
Given its size of 15 cm, the decorative structure and the small figures have been carved and modeled using Maple wood, a material favored by our artisans for creating small and medium-sized artifacts, known for its fine grain and ability to retain the smallest details. Each element is then hand-painted with vivid colors and a finish that emphasizes its rustic charm.
Observe the outdoor platform, a small natural stage where a stylized fir tree, a mushroom, and a miniature deer create an idyllic setting. In the center, between the two arched openings, a vertical thermometer is positioned for an immediate temperature reading. The true magic, however, lies in the two figures placed in the niches: the man and the woman, dressed in traditional clothes, who alternate to indicate the weather to come.
