A sculpture that embodies serenity and light: this Dolfi Child Angel is a masterpiece of sweetness and craftsmanship. The figure is sculpted with an infantile and reassuring expression, the chubby face framed by well-defined curls and a serene gaze directed forward.
The angel wears a robe in evocative shades of dark olive green, enriched with soft drapes and a dark ribbon tied at the waist. The brightest detail are the large wings: made with a golden and textured metallic finish, they simulate the precious effect of gold leaf and capture the light with vibrant realism. This workmanship enhances the three-dimensionality and richness of detail.
In a gesture of welcome and blessing, the right hand is raised, while the left holds a candle, a symbol of hope, with a lively sculpted flame. Each piece is entirely carved and hand-painted by our artisans from Val Gardena, ensuring details of the highest precision, such as the small circular decorations that adorn the bottom of the robe.
