Questo pezzo, pur moderno nello stile, si inserisce nella secolare arte dell'intaglio della Val Gardena, Dolomiti. La Val Gardena è rinomata dal XVII secolo per la maestria dei suoi scultori, capaci di trasformare il legno, materiale abbondante, in oggetti di profonda spiritualità.
