A masterpiece of faith and craftsmanship, this Statue of Our Lady of Fátima embodies the serenity and devotion of the most beloved Marian apparition. Hand-carved entirely by the master artisans of Val Gardena, every detail is carefully crafted to convey a deep emotion.
The Virgin is depicted in a pose of fervent prayer, with hands joined at her chest and head slightly bowed. The dress, in a pure cream or ivory color, is embellished with sumptuous golden finishes that outline the veil and the ample folds of the mantle, culminating in refined floral arabesques that enhance its sacredness. A golden ribbon with a star-shaped medallion encircles her waist, adding a touch of divine light. The figure rests delicately on a base of sculpted clouds, painted with soft pastel shades that emphasize its celestial origin.
In accordance with the Dolfi tradition, the sculpture is made using the finest alpine woods. Thanks to the availability of numerous sizes, we specify that the statue is made of maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, ensuring perfect detail definition even in smaller sizes, and of linden wood for larger sizes, which allows for preserving the stability and grandeur of monumental works.
