Description

Admire the majesty of the St. Pio sculpture, a masterpiece that captures the solemnity and contemplation of the holy prelate. This figure is dressed in sumptuous brick-red liturgical vestments, embellished with rich borders and details in shining gold leaf that reflect the light, typical of the esteemed sacred art of Val Gardena.

His serene pose, with his gaze directed towards the open book, communicates profound doctrine and faith, accentuated by the richness of the attributes: the golden tiara, a symbol of spiritual authority, and the pastoral staff with the three-barred cross. Every fold of the vestments, every line of the bearded and contemplative face, is carved with meticulous precision to infuse life and devotion.

Consistent with our artisanal tradition, the sculpture is crafted using selected woods from the alpine region: maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm and linden wood for larger dimensions. After carving, the statue is hand-finished with the polished polychrome technique, which enhances the vivid colors and ensures lasting protection, transforming it into a treasure for any sacred space or private collection.
