Inizialmente incentrata sull'arte sacra, questa tradizione si è evoluta fino a includere soggetti popolari e scene di vita alpina, che celebrano il folklore e la cultura locale.</p><p>La creazione di "casette segnatempo" o "barometri delle Alpi" si inserisce in questa evoluzione, unendo la funzionalità pratica della misurazione del tempo o della temperatura con l'estetica dell'artigianato locale. Questa casetta, pur omaggiando un evento specifico come l'Oktoberfest (nato a Monaco nel 1810), prosegue la tradizione di Dolfi nel trasformare elementi di arredo comune in pezzi unici di scultura artistica.</p>
