    This vintage Black Forest cuckoo clock is a classically shaped quartz cuckoo clock made of hand carved and stained basswood.
    The maple leaves and bird decorate this beautiful clock.
    Every hour the window where the cuckoo is hidden opens and the cuckoo comes out, chirps and sings the number of hours with echo. On the side there is a switch to turn off the cuckoo. By means of a dark sensor, the sound is automatically turned off, but the clock still works. The quartz clock is powered by two 1.5V C batteries.
