This sculpture captures the essence of protection and unconditional love. The figure of the Guardian Angel is depicted in a modern and stylized manner, with soft lines that blend into a reassuring embrace. The adult curves, creating a protective hollow where the smaller figure of the child is enveloped and cradled, symbolizing a safe haven.
The wide wings, finished with a precious antique gold color and lightly burnished, symbolize divine presence and eternal security. The Angel's robe, dominated by a warm terracotta red with sculpted folds, enhances the depth of the carving, while the serene and contemplative faces of the two figures reflect an inner peace given by their closeness.
Each piece is the result of the ancient art of wood carving from Val Gardena. Our sculptures are entirely handcrafted and hand-painted, ensuring unique details. For all available sizes (from 5 cm to 18 cm), we exclusively use Maple wood, chosen for its fine grain and its ability to best render the details of the finishes, whether you choose the colored (C), natural (N), or precious Italian olive wood (U) version.
