This Carved Christmas Star is a masterpiece of meticulous craftsmanship from Val Gardena, capable of encapsulating the magic of the holidays in just 10 cm. The overall shape, a twelve-pointed star, perfectly frames a tender Christmas scene of pure joy.
At the center, a cheerful Snowman, complete with top hat and scarf, is flanked by a small Angel with stylized wings, whose clasped hands express sweetness and prayer. The scene is enriched by the presence of a young deer, a stylized Christmas tree, and three gift packages, symbols of festive generosity, all intricately carved on a wavy base that evokes fresh snow.
The entire composition, including the carved details and sharp contours, is made of Birch Plywood, the material favored by Dolfi artisans for small sculptures and ornaments (under 56 cm). The natural wood finish enhances the delicate grain of the material, celebrating the raw material. To crown the work, eight sparkling red gems are set on the points of the star, adding a vibrant chromatic contrast and a touch of preciousness that catches the eye and reflects the Christmas lights.
