Description

The "Aurora" Hut is not just a structure, but the beating heart of your nativity scene, a stage ready to welcome the Holy Family. Crafted with the mastery that only Val Gardena artisans can offer, this rustic representation immediately evokes a sense of warmth and hospitality, becoming the visual focal point of any Christmas display.

Attention to detail is visible in every element: from the sturdy beams of the sloping roof, finished with a warm sheen that enhances the grain, to the extended base that defines the pastoral setting. Additional elements such as the small side fences and the stylized tree add depth and realism to the scene, transforming the hut into a small diorama. At the top, the Comet Star, painted in a pale and luminous yellow, serves as a spiritual beacon, guiding the observer towards the center of the Nativity.

True to tradition and superior quality, all our huts, including this evocative 10 cm edition, are carved using exclusively Linden wood. This material is particularly appreciated by sculptors for its stability and fine grain, which allows our artisans to achieve perfect finishes and defined details, celebrating the South Tyrolean artisanal mastery.

Story
The Capanna Aurora, while being a central symbol of the Christian Nativity, is not associated with a single specific saint. It represents the birthplace of Jesus Christ, a fundamental event of the Christian faith. Its veneration is manifested through the tradition of the nativity scene, which evokes and celebrates the Holy Family and the humility of God's coming into the world. It is a symbol of peace, hope and divine love, deeply rooted in popular Christmas devotion.
