The figure of Saint Mary Magdalene emerges with an enchanting grace and solemnity, typical of the highest sacred art produced by our master carvers in Val Gardena. The sculpture, hand-carved and painted according to a centuries-old tradition, captures a moment of deep contemplation.
Her upright posture and the inclination of her head, together with her gaze directed at the vase she holds, express a serene acceptance of her spiritual path. The attention to detail is superlative, evident in the flowing drapery: the scarlet red of the mantle envelops the figure, bordered and lined with painted gold that recalls the look of antique, burnished gold, creating a visual effect of great impact and richness.

Respecting our centuries-old artisan tradition and guaranteeing the highest sculptural quality, the statue is made of maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, ideal for precision of detail. For larger sizes (from 60 cm upwards), precious linden wood is used, perfect for stability and the expression of large formats.
