The artist used a rich polychrome finish that gives depth and vibrancy to the sculpture: the crimson red of the chasuble harmonizes with the bright yellow-gold finishes, while the details of the crozier and miter are embellished with meticulous gilding that simulates their preciousness. The face, framed by a thick dark beard, expresses deep contemplation, with his gaze turned upwards, an invitation to spirituality.
Each piece is a testament to the skill of our sculptors. For sizes up to 56cm, the statue is made of maple wood, known for its fine grain and its ability to retain the smallest details. For larger sizes (starting from 60cm), we use linden wood, ideal for ensuring stability and workability on large formats.
