Description

The statue of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the "Little Flower of Jesus", is a masterpiece of devotion and fine craftsmanship from Val Gardena. The figure stands in a pose of humble contemplation, enveloped in a flowing monastic habit, made vibrant by finishes that play on shades of dark brown and black. The contrast is provided by her serene face and bare feet, symbols of simplicity and spiritual rootedness.

The central element is the bouquet of red roses, delicately held to her chest, which foreshadows the "shower of graces" promised by the Saint. Every detail, from the small rosary to the white belt, is sculpted and finished with the mastery that distinguishes our artisans. The available finishes, C - colored wood and 3G - three shades of brown, enhance the depth and texture of the wood.

This sculpture is a tribute to the Alpine sculptural tradition. Depending on the chosen size, the best wood essence is used to ensure its longevity and precision of details: it is crafted from precious maple wood for sizes up to 56cm and sturdy linden wood for other sizes. A unique piece, a symbol of faith and art.
