The details are rendered with mastery: from the deep and realistic folds of the dark garment – which contrasts with the soft light of the veil and white cord – to the serene and blessing gesture of her right hand. Her left hand holds the symbols of her faith: the Book of Rules and the lit candle, an emblem of hope and spiritual vigilance.
