Description

The image of Saint Albert Bishop is captured in this superb sculpture, a masterpiece of faith and craftsmanship from Val Gardena. The figure stands in a pose of serene contemplation, with head tilted upwards, a gesture that evokes deep spirituality and divine connection.

The richness of details is astonishing. The cope, in a dark and vibrant red, is embellished with meticulous golden borders, which splendidly match the miter and sacred accessories. The golden crozier, a symbol of pastoral guidance, and the pectoral cross, attesting to his dignity, give the statue an aura of regal solemnity. In his right hand, Saint Albert holds an open book, a symbol of wisdom and doctrine.

The artwork is available in two finishes: Colored (C), which brings the drapery to life with brilliant polychromy, and Natural (N), which highlights the wood grain. Respecting the ancient sculptural tradition of Val Gardena, this statue is made of maple wood for sizes up to 56cm, an ideal material for ensuring minute details and precision, and in fine linden wood for sizes from 56 cm upwards, ensuring stability and monumental grandeur.
