The Dolfi Rabbit Sculpture is a small masterpiece of naturalism and grace, masterfully carved by our artisans in Val Gardena. Depicted in a crouched and attentive pose, with one ear perked in vigilant listening, this rabbit embodies the quietness and vivacity of alpine fauna.
Its soft forms are enhanced by realistic coloring: from the reddish-brown coat that fades into darker shades on the back, to the creamy white belly and delicate pink accents on the nose and ears. Each piece is hand-painted with extreme care, giving vitality to the animal's attentive and placid gaze, simulating the texture of the fur through skillful tonal variations.
This art object is available in various sizes between 6 and 15 cm. Following our sculptural tradition, for these smaller sizes, the statue is made from precious maple wood (variant C - colored), known for its fineness and excellent rendering of details. It is also available in the natural maple wood variant (N), which celebrates the intrinsic beauty of the raw wood grain.
