Story
L'intaglio di figure e animali in legno in Val Gardena risale al XVII secolo. Sebbene inizialmente l'attenzione fosse rivolta quasi esclusivamente all'Arte Sacra (statue di Santi e Crocifissi), con il tempo gli artigiani locali iniziarono a scolpire anche scene di vita quotidiana e rappresentazioni della ricca fauna alpina, come cervi, orsi e animali da fattoria. Queste sculture, tra cui il coniglio, erano richieste sia come complementi d'arredo raffinati che come elementi per arricchire le scene del presepe, integrando la bellezza della natura circostante all'interno delle case. La tradizione Dolfi è custode di quest'arte, preservando le tecniche manuali di intaglio e pittura dettagliata tramandate da generazioni.
