Description

Nestled in the heart of Val Gardena's artisan tradition, this cuckoo clock is not just a simple timepiece, but a true miniature of alpine life. Designed to enchant the little ones and authentically decorate any bedroom, it represents a bridge between play and sculptural art.

The design reproduces a picturesque Black Forest-style mountain chalet, enriched with details that tell silent stories. Observe the bright red shutters that contrast with the natural tones of the wood, the colorful flower pots, and the faux stone masonry that gives a rustic touch to the base. On the right, an alpine figure, carefully carved, raises its horn (Alphorn) ready to announce the hours.

Every element, from the stylized fir trees to the small golden bells on the platform, is finished with the utmost attention, creating a three-dimensional picture of great visual impact. The clock weights are shaped like pinecones, recalling the pristine nature of the valleys.

The case, measuring 26 cm, is made with craftsmanship that pays homage to Dolfi quality. Following our sculptural logic for objects of this size, it is carved from maple wood, a material chosen for its compact grain and its ability to retain the extreme precision of the carvings, ensuring a piece of furniture that will withstand time and generations.

Detail & Meaning
