The statue of the Pilgrim Our Lady of Fatima is a work that embodies serenity and deep Marian devotion. Every detail, expertly crafted by our artisans in Val Gardena, aims to reflect the sweetness and grace of the Portuguese apparition.
The Virgin is depicted standing with her hands joined in prayer. Her long robes, which in the colored finish appear in an ethereal cream color, fall in soft folds that give volume and dynamism to the figure. Her facial expression is composed and serene, with her eyes slightly lowered in a gesture of humble acceptance.
The refined finishing details enhance the work: a delicate veil descends from her head, embellished along the edges with painted motifs that simulate a golden finish, a reference to divine light. A small five-pointed star stands out on her robe, iconographic symbols faithfully reproduced in metallic gold. The figure rests on a solid base, engraved with the word "FATIMA", making it perfect for any place of worship or home environment.
Materials and Craftsmanship: Following the Dolfi tradition, this sculpture is made using precious wood. It is carved from maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm and from linden wood for all larger sizes. Available in 'Natural' or 'Colored' variants, the sculpture can be appreciated in the purity of the wood or through the vibrancy of the hand-applied colors, which enhance every nuance.
