This magnificent wall cuckoo clock is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship, combining the functionality of a timepiece with the decorative richness of wood carving. The entire structure, characterized by a warm medium-dark brown, is carved with astonishing depth. The frame is a triumph of naturalistic details: vigorous oak leaves and acorns extend from the top and sides, creating an organic and enveloping texture. At the summit, a large bird with spread wings dominates the scene, while two small birds perch on branches on either side of the dial. Below the black dial with white Roman numerals, two cute owls wait among the leaves. The pulsating heart of this clock is its enchanting upper niche, where two human figures in traditional attire mimic a joyful dance, enlivening the hour. The matte or semi-gloss finish enhances the texture of the noble material. Available in a size of 48 cm, this work was crafted from precious maple wood, hand-carved and finished by expert sculptors from Val Gardena, ensuring a unique piece of eternal beauty. The three hanging weights, finely carved in the shape of pinecones, complete the classic aesthetic.
