The design is an exquisite homage to the forest and hunting theme. The case is entirely wrapped in a lush, full-relief carving of oak leaves and acorns, symbols of strength and longevity. The top is dominated by a statuary deer head with large antlers, serving as a majestic trophy. Laterally, the scene comes alive with the figure of a hunter in a watchful pose, rifle on his shoulder, and an elegant pheasant perched on a branch.
Each element is finished with a transparent lacquer that enhances the natural grain and gives a uniform satin finish, accentuating the depth of the carvings. Above the dial, the work is completed with a small balcony housing two stylized figures dancing to the rhythm of traditional folklore, ready to reveal the cuckoo's song.
