This digital wall clock is a cuckoo clock called Trentino and is an automatic clock that runs on three small batteries. The case has a weight of 2.5 kg and measures 20 cm in height, 24 cm in width and 15 cm in depth. Every hour the cuckoo calls with an echo. The case is carved from wood, as are the clock face, hands and weights. Every hour the cuckoo comes out of the window and sings after the hours. This model plays 12 different melodies.

Questi orologi si sono diffusi rapidamente come emblemi di precisione meccanica e di ricca tradizione folcloristica.</p><p>Nelle regioni alpine di lingua tedesca, come il Trentino e l'Alto Adige, grazie alla forte influenza culturale mitteleuropea e alla secolare arte dell'intaglio della Val Gardena, l'orologio a cucù è stato adottato e reinterpretato dagli artigiani.
