The entire casing is a rich naturalistic composition: dominated by the imposing head of a deer with majestic antlers, it is flanked by the vigilance of a bird of prey and the attentive wisdom of a rabbit. Hunting symbols such as crossed rifles, the horn, and the satchel blend with the abundance of oak leaves and branches, carved with surprising three-dimensionality. Even the pinecone-shaped weights and the dial with white Roman numerals contribute to the rustic and refined charm.

Made entirely of Maple Wood, chosen for its fine grain and ability to support meticulous carvings, essential for rendering the veins of the leaves and the texture of the feathers.
