Story
La storia dell'orologio a cucù affonda le radici nella Foresta Nera tedesca a metà del XVIII secolo. Nato dalla necessità di trovare alternative alla complessa e costosa meccanica degli orologi a campana, il meccanismo del cucù si diffuse rapidamente grazie alla sua semplicità e al fascino popolare. L'evoluzione del design ha visto l'introduzione dei ricchi intagli in legno, spesso realizzati da maestri artigiani locali. Questo stile, noto come "Tradizionale" o "Chalet", fu poi adottato e reinterpretato in tutte le regioni alpine, inclusa la Val Gardena, dove l'arte della scultura in legno era già sviluppata. Dolfi perpetua questa eredità, unendo la precisione orologiera tedesca con l'incomparabile maestria scultorea gardenese.
