Story
L'orologio a cucù (Kuckucksuhr) è nato nella regione della Foresta Nera (Schwarzwald) in Germania, con le prime menzioni risalenti all'inizio del XVIII secolo. Inizialmente semplici, questi orologi si evolsero nel corso dell'Ottocento, quando furono introdotti i modelli a forma di "Casa del Capostazione" (Bahnhäusle) e, successivamente, lo stile "Chalet" (come quello raffigurato), che divenne popolare per la sua capacità di ricreare un paesaggio tridimensionale. Questo modello in particolare rispecchia la tradizione di combinare meccanica precisa e scultura artigianale, unendo l'ingegneria tedesca con la sensibilità per l'intaglio artistico condivisa anche dagli artigiani della Val Gardena.
