Story
Le origini dell'orologio a cucù risalgono al XVII secolo, ma la sua forma caratteristica, quella della "casa della ferrovia" (Bahnhäusle) che ha ispirato questo design a chalet, fu sviluppata nel XIX secolo nella regione della Foresta Nera in Germania. Questi orologi divennero rapidamente icone, combinando un meccanismo ingegnoso con l'arte dell'intaglio del legno, unendo così la precisione dell'ingegneria con l'abilità manuale degli artigiani locali. Sebbene il meccanismo sia spesso di origine tedesca, la maestria nell'intaglio e nella decorazione di queste opere si lega strettamente alla tradizione artigianale della scultura su legno, in particolare quella sviluppata dai maestri della Val Gardena.
