Story
La storia dell'orologio a cucù affonda le sue radici nelle tradizioni orologiere europee, in particolare nella regione tedesca della Foresta Nera, a partire dal XVII secolo. Originariamente sviluppati da abili artigiani come estensione del loro lavoro di intaglio del legno, questi orologi divennero rapidamente icone di precisione e decorazione rustica. Il meccanismo del "cucù", che imita il canto dell'uccello, era inizialmente un espediente per evitare la complessità meccanica della suoneria tradizionale. L'adozione del design a "Chalet" si consolidò nel XIX secolo, trasformando l'orologio in una miniatura architettonica che celebrava la cultura montanara, unendo la maestria dell'intaglio del legno, tipica anche della Val Gardena, con l'ingegneria del tempo.
