The main subject is a graceful naturalistic theme: three finely carved birds perch among rich oak or maple leaves, with deep and well-defined veins. The bird at the top, with its wings slightly spread, adds dynamism to the scene, while the two on either side of the dial create perfect symmetry.
The finish is smooth and intensely polished, enhancing the warm tones of the stained wood, from medium to dark brown.
