The figure stands out for its exquisite attire: a light yellow robe with flowing folds, decorated with tiny painted white flowers and cinched with a cream-colored bow. Distinctive details include the two feathered wings and musical instruments – a pair of small cymbals – finished with opulent metallic gold leaf simulation, which contrasts beautifully with the semi-matte paint of the body. The complexion, with its delicate rosy hues, expresses the childlike innocence typical of the Baroque period.
Each Musical Angel is entirely hand-carved and decorated by our master artisans in Val Gardena. For all available sizes (5 cm, 8 cm, 10 cm), we exclusively use precious maple wood, the traditional choice for small sculptures.
