The object features a clean and continuous silhouette, evoking the perfect geometry of nature, like a stylized acorn or a small urn. Its ovoid shape, polished to a silky softness to the touch, is crowned by a hemispherical lid that fits with millimeter precision.
Made entirely using the turning technique, each piece reveals the magnificent and subtle concentric grain of the wood, especially visible on the domed surface of the lid. For this size (30 cm), we select precious maple wood, known for its fine and homogeneous grain that enhances the natural and light finish. The color, ranging from pale beige to cream, is left in its authentic splendor, protected only by a light and transparent sanding that ensures its durability over time. A discreet engraved ring just below the upper edge adds a detail of sober elegance to this timeless creation.
