A unique sacred artwork. This 120 cm statue of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is a one‑of‑a‑kind masterpiece, entirely hand‑carved by the master woodcarvers of Val Gardena following the centuries‑old Dolfi tradition.
She is depicted in her most authentic iconography: the dark brown Carmelite habit with soft natural folds, the cream‑colored mantle draped elegantly over her shoulders, and the black Carmelite veil. In her hands she holds a crucifix with a carved Christ, surrounded by blooming red roses — the symbol of her promise to let fall a “shower of roses” from Heaven. Her bare feet, barely visible under the habit, recall Carmelite humility and poverty. The statue stands on a dark wooden base that enhances its verticality and presence.
With its 120 cm height, this statue is perfect for churches, chapels, shrines, and prestigious sacred spaces. Its presence is immediate: it conveys devotion, contemplation, and the spiritual sweetness that made Thérèse one of the most beloved saints worldwide.
As a unique piece, it will never be replicated with the same proportions and details. Whoever acquires it brings into their church a work that exists nowhere else in the world.
