Description

Let yourself be enveloped by the serene contemplation of the Statue of Saint Ermengarda with Crown, a masterpiece of wood carving hand-carved and painted by the skilled artisans of Val Gardena.

This sacred figure stands in a pose of peaceful devotion, with her head slightly bowed in humility. The sweet and meditative expression of the Saint is brought to life thanks to the meticulous oil painting, which enhances the warm shades of her brown monastic habit and the folds of the drapery, creating an extraordinary effect of depth. The refined gold details, such as the volute of the pastoral staff and the small crown placed on the book, add a touch of majestic luminosity and solemnity.

The authentic beauty of this sculpture is guaranteed by the quality of the wood used, carefully selected according to our artisan tradition to ensure the best sculptural rendition in every dimension. The product is made of maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, renowned for its fineness and ability to capture the minutest details, and sturdy linden wood for larger sizes (starting from 60 cm). Each piece bears witness to centuries of craftsmanship, bringing into your home a timeless spiritual and artistic legacy.
