Description

Immerse yourself in devotion with our Father Pio Sculpture, a spiritual masterpiece crafted entirely by hand by artisans from Val Gardena, guardians of a centuries-old tradition. This statue captures the figure of the Saint in an upright, frontal pose, immediately conveying a sense of peace and profound spirituality.

The expression on his face is serene and benevolent, characterized by a thick and well-groomed beard that accentuates his monastic austerity. The Saint wears his traditional Franciscan habit, rendered in warm brown tones that highlight the vibrant texture of the wood. The darker hood falls over his shoulders, creating a visual contrast that defines the wide, soft folds of the habit.

The details are expertly crafted: his left hand holds a simple wooden crucifix tightly to his chest, a symbol of his life of passion and intercession; his right hand delicately holds a rosary, an incessant instrument of his prayer. The figure is girded at the waist by the traditional cord with three votive knots.

For this 20 cm size, the sculpture is carved from precious Maple Wood, known for its fine grain and ability to retain the smallest details. You can choose the 'C' finish with vibrant, patinated colors, as illustrated, or the 'N' finish in natural wood, for those who prefer the purity of the raw material. The overall finish, satin and velvety to the touch, elevates this statue to a true focal point of any prayer space.
