L'agnello è uno dei simboli cristiani più antichi e potenti. Story
La tradizione di inserire l'agnello nel presepe risale alle origini stesse della rappresentazione della Natività, stabilita da San Francesco d'Assisi a Greccio nel 1223. Fin dall'antichità, l'agnello era un animale sacrificale rituale, e la sua inclusione nel presepe lo lega direttamente al contesto ebraico-cristiano. La scultura in legno di figure religiose, come quelle di Dolfi, affonda invece le sue radici nella Val Gardena fin dal XVII secolo, trasformando un semplice elemento iconografico in una preziosa opera d'arte tramandata di generazione in generazione.
