The figure of the Angel, 14 cm tall, is skillfully carved from precious Maple Wood, selected for its fine grain and ability to capture the minutest details of carving, typical of alpine craftsmanship.
The entire work is set in a refined light wood structure: the upper frame features an elaborate pierced carving with floral motifs and the stylization of two protective birds. Six faceted rhinestones are set into the border, adding a touch of celestial light. The lower base, heart-shaped, is embellished with the touching black inscription of the prayer: "Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide.
