Description

Let yourselves be enchanted by the timeless magic of this traditional Cuckoo Clock, a work of craftsmanship that captures the essence of alpine life and the ancient carving art of Val Gardena.

The sculpture faithfully reproduces a welcoming chalet-style house, with a white facade contrasted by the evocative pitched roof, where white patches simulate freshly fallen snow. Every detail is meticulously crafted: from the windows with brown frames and shutters decorated with heart carvings, to the balcony railing that divides the floors.

This clock is made of precious Linden Wood, chosen for its stability and its ability to enhance the fineness of the carving. The base scene is a rural microcosm, animated by a couple in traditional clothes, a faithful dog, and a pile of wood, symbols of tranquility and work. The coloring is obtained through a painted finish with colors ranging from warm brown for the structures, to dark green for the fir trees, up to the brass details of the dial. Under the structure, a finely shaped wooden pendulum and two weights in the shape of a burnished pinecone complete the classic aesthetic, ensuring a nostalgic and authentic charm.

Detail & Meaning
